Item:295799814253Print #05 of GOLDEN TRIUMPH, Signed by “Market Price” & Economist Peter Schiff. This
work of art is a
numbered print (#05 of 50) of an oil painting (oil on linen) entitled
GOLDEN TRIUMPH
that was painted by the
famous Puerto Rican artist
who goes by the pseudonym “Market Price.” This painting was commissioned
by
Economist
Peter Schiff. A collection of works by Market Price
were up for public display
in an art gallery on Madison Ave in New York City (295 Madison Ave, NY,
NY. 10017)
during the month of June (2023), and an open auction was
conducted within this gallery on June 16th in which the original oil
painting and the 50 numbered prints
(produced on museum quality archival paper)
were sold to the highest bidder. The
auction concluded at 9 pm EST, at which point, each of the 50 numbered
prints was hand signed by both Market Price and
Peter Schiff (who were each present at the event).
The original oil
painting sold for $30,000
Print #01 sold for $5,000

Many
of the buyers were anonymous, but we do know that Print #01 was
purchased by Dick Desich (entrepreneur, philanthropist, and co-founder
of the Equity Trust Company), and Print #02 was purchased by
Tyler Winklevoss (billionaire investor and founder of Gemini and
Winklevoss Capital Management). This is all documented on the artist's
website: 1marketprice.com/golden I was the winning bidder for print #05. And
unfortunately
(for me), the print was slightly damaged in the process of being shipped to my place of residence. However,
fortunately
(for you), this is your opportunity to receive a discount (below auction price) on this unique work of art! The damage is minor (likely fixable), and it is isolated only on the outer edge of the
archival paper. Actually, it may not even be noticeable behind glass. And when I reached out to the team in charge of the auction and they replied with the following statement: “ The print was made with extra space around the edges for this very scenario.” So, in reality, it may not be that big of a deal, but, to be thorough, I have carefully documented the damage within the pictures for this listing. All of this to say: here's your chance to get a major discount on a major work of art (whose value will likely increase over time). All reasonable offers will be considered. The buyer will receive fast and free shipping!
